Is it hot were you are?
I went to the dentist this evening and it was showing 37 in my Mums car driving there!
Looks like no sleep again tonight.

Your averaging about 25 degrees (except Saturday when the forecast is 30).
That is wonderful weather and NOT hot.
Pretty high humidity though and that can make it feel a lot warmer.
I would kill to be over there at the moment and wandering around Shropshire hunting dead relatives.
We are averaging 18 degrees which is not too bad for Winter so I can't complain.

I'm in Shropshire Mark, and I'm not complaining about the heat, although it does slow me down! It's quite humid today though, and you're right, that doesn't help.

I was in Philadelphia a few years ago with 35 degrees and high humidity - I couldn't tell the difference between standing in the shade and standing in the sun! They did know how to work their air con too - it was pleasant inside (not freezing like some places), so there was no shock of rapidly changing temperatures as we went in and out of buildings!

Where in Shropshire? A cousin sent me some pictures they took near Sheriff Hales yesterday and it has to be one of the prettiest places on the planet.
We just don't get the rich and varied greens that England boasts anywhere in Oz.
Australian weather forecasts include temp, humidity, temp in shade, Ultra Violet rating and a "feels like" estimation.
They are predicting we will hit 50 degrees in Melbourne in late December or early January.
Anything above 40 and everybody stays indoors with the air conditioning on.
That can stress the electricity grid and cause blackouts which is dangerous for many older people as they can't get cool.
Quite often you see them congregate at the local shopping mall where it is guaranteed to be cool.
I hope you all enjoy the weather after the snow and rain you had not long ago.
