b) Married an Elizabeth Pearsall
c) Had Elder brother William Richard Purdey who died in St. John Street Netherton in 1878 aged 2
d) had younger brother Bert who was born in Bell Road Netherton in 1887 (on bcc)
e) Many of Purdeys emigrated to U.S.A. Pennsylvania at end of 19th Century
