I wonder if Ezra's first wife died and he remarried Mary Ann in 1840

Would it be possible to check the marriage to that Alice? IGI has two submitted entries, one to Alice Edgel 1834 Black Heath. One to Alice Edge 14 Oct 1832. I have to say I prefer the name Edge so it would be nice to have a look up for the marriage if possible.



And the BCC entry for daughter Ruth? It is down as 2 Sep 1835 Rowley Regis but I can't find that entry myself though the IGI has various versions as submitted entries. On the other hand there is an extracted entry for Halesowen Independent (whate is that? If you follow the link it goes to a mixed batch but none at Halesowen as far as I can see) born 1 Sep 1835, bapt. 1 Jun 1836, parents Ezra and Alice.

The entries are extracted from
Independent Chapel, Halesowen, Worcester register of baptisma 1805-1837 transcribed by J V Cox and Shropshire FHS does a printed copy of it.
Where is Lin? Bet she has it.

Anyways, if they had Mary in 1833 then the 14th Oct Dudley marriage for Ezra to Alice Edge looks good to me though we don't know which church it is!

I was assuming the church for Alice might be Dudley st Thom
I will only look at one
and if she is not there we will change to Edge but put something in the notes.

Ok I have checked this out and took a guess on the marriage being St Thomas...and guess wot....it wasn't....
