I have just found my nana on the 1911 Census waited ages to get this.

She is a Laura Simpson age 3 born Gateshead.

I didnt know her fathers name we thought it was Oram at first....but it wasn't .....we heard via family members it was a Danny someone...but had to wait until the 1911 census for Northumberland/Tyne and wear.

Anyway found em and would like to know more on Daniel will transcribe it tomoz
but he is age 29 from Berwick on tweed

I can't see a marriage for him and Amy Beatrice Maud Bell or Maud as she is known on the 1911 census age 31 born Lazonby cumbria.
Prev married to a William Oram he disappeared we believe to America.

So I have all the info on the Bells and not bothered about the Orams.

Going to get the birth certif think for Laura simpson

but would like to know more about him and his family.
difficult if no marriage ....I dont think they married
but anything about him or what happened to Amy /Maud would be good.

The confusing thing is amy beatrice maud bell also had a sister called Maud apparently....I haven't done my fathers side another member of the family has done that ....so would like to see a census with the Bell sisters on if possible...and just check there is Maud as a sister

Now as I say I have marriage docs birth certifs etc etc..

but what is really odd is that on Lauras (nanas) marriage instead of this Daniel Simpson she reverts to Laura Oram and puts William Henry Oram on the marriage certif!

now why would she do that.

We heard that William Henry Oram went to America with another guy...not sure in what capacity

So it is George bell and a Charlotte not
