burning on her bath, so even if the candle has a metal bottom
the heat will still transfer to the surface the candle stands on!!

Not just ladies who forget candles!
My husband (this is years ago before we even were living together!) lit one - fell asleep in front of the telly. When he woke, he thought he was late as he was coming over to see me, so he rushed out of the house forgetting the candle.
When he arrived, he was earlier than I'd expected him! Having stopped over he left for work at the usual time. He was then called up by a mate of his, who happened to see the fire brigade arrive at about eight o'clock in the morning!!
The candle had burned down, and only then did it set other things alight, so the house wasn't burnt down, but was seriously damaged - with the kitchen clock doing a very good salvador dali impression. This marked the day when we moved in together (or rather he moved in with me!)
After the insurance was sorted, we decided to rebuild rather than repair, so now we have a larger, newer house in a lovely spot.
Of course he always says it was my fault, 'cos if he wasn't rushing over to see me.........
It also goes without saying that he doesn't like candles anymore.

Palmolive Soap!....I like that....or Imperial leather.
Now why is it called Imperial leather is that cos that is how it makes your skin feel.
I only buy it cos I think it is posh and I like the label it leaves behind.
Only problem is you end up washing yourself with a label......
