Why does it never boil?
I was thinking of those sayings
A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush
what does that mean
any that you are fond of saying

I say loads and the kids go mad at me
Make do and mend

Cut your cloth accordingly

Waste not want not

Old age doesn't come alone
A friend of mine used to say this wasn't till I got older I really appreciated what it means.

My grandad always used to say
If they doe come they ay Gorna go back
Find myself saying it now too.
