Hey all,

Don't wanna be a pain but could i run this family by you and see where i go next or what i have to do.

1861 census
Eliska Bathes 43 1818, Lepton, Staffordshire Head
Hannah Bathes 44 1817, Tipton, Staffordshire wife
Thos Butcher 33 1828 (think Hannahs brother)
Thos Glase 1849 12 son
Job Glase 1851 8 son
Caroline Barnes daughter

1871 Census
Elishah Barns 1818 Lepton, Staffordshire 58 Head
Hannah Barns, 1817 Tipton, Staffordshire 58 Wife
Caroline Barns, 1855 Westbromwich,Staffordshire 14 Daughter
John Barns, 1858 Staffordshire 17 son

1881 census
Elisha barnes 64 Lepton, Staffordshire Head
Hannah Barnes 67 Tipton, Staffordshire

Poss marriage for Elijah Barnes and Hannah Butcher 1853 Tipton, St Martin (Pepper Box)

Now Hannah was married before to a William Beach poss marriage 1840 Dudley, St Thomas,
As far as know there was no children but i cant find them on the 1841 census.

I don't think between 1840-1853 she could fit another marriage, also on Carolines Birth cert it says
Hannah Barnes late Beech formally Butcher, so where do you think the Glase's came from, ( maybe she had a little fun  ) , so where would i find out who there daddy is, ive tried using the link to west Bromwich B/D/M and cant find them.

The Glase's do end up in Yorkshire, Methley,

So what do you think? Ps sorry if i've put it in the wrong box NL will have to move me again 

Thanks Diane

Not sure about thes but putting them in any way

1841
Carters Green, West Bromwich
Willm Beach 20 miner N
Hannah ditto 20 N

Living at same address I think
John Carter 30 labourer N
Ellen ditto 30 N

1851
Farley Street?, west Bromwich
Thomas Glaze, 38, coal miner, Bilston
Hannah ditto, 36, Tipton
Mary Anne ditto, dau,16,Tipton
Thomas ditto, son, 2, West Bromwich

And then this fits

Hannah Glaze to Elijah Barnes 1859 at Tipton St Martin Pepper Box

"on Carolines Birth cert it says
Hannah Barnes late Beech formally Butcher"

That would make her maiden name Butcher

Hannah Butcher to William Beach 27 April 1840 St Thomas Dudley

Hannah and William i n West Brom on 1841 census

Hannah Beach to Thomas Glaze ??? marriage where if at all

Hannah and Thomas on 1851 census West Brom

Hannah Beach to Elijah Barnes 1853 Tipton

Hannah Glaze to Elijah Barnes 1859 Tipton

Hannah and Elijah on 1861 Tipton

???? Confusing or what? Would be good to get the Tipton marriages checked out I think.

This is a bit peculiar, 'cos there's this as well:

1841 Queens Place, Queens St., Wednesbury
Thos Glaze 20 Coal Miner
Hannah Glaze 20
Mary Glaze 5
All born in county.

Could be Thomas's first wife was a Hannah also, there's quite an age diff between the kids
