Is there a correct way to append Marriage lookups that
will save the 'looker' the problem of retyping....
Can Maggie or Rocky set an example out for easier looks(see below).

You may get the correct number by pasting?? best RF
Some people have difficulty reading in capital letters, that's why every lookup I do at the archives I have to retype, and only one in the last few years aint bad.

I retype all of the lookups for the list I use when I go to the archives, it is in church and date order, to save time. It's also in lower case because I have trouble reading capital letters.

I just type them like this because it's easier for me and hopefully for anyone else who may be going to the archives :

Holy Trinity, Amblecote : 1848/46 - Charles Little and Susannah Young (For Mally)

The problem with the one that I put on yesterday, was that it was one I had on my own personal list and not from the West Midlands BMD site, and I thought someone might have the transcripts, I had two marriages next to each other on my list :

St John, Dudley : 1893/70, Noah Priest and Mary A White

and

St Andrew, Dudley : 1930/486 - Harry Griffiths and Sarah Priest

I did it in a rush and just mixed them up a bit. No problem, Barb noticed it so it was put right.
