Removed due to concerns expressed below; however, for anyone who may have read the original post I'd like to reassure you that all the possible 'Roland's' are definitely dead, and of the 3 ladies named one is definitely dead, one I'm not sure ever existed but the third I cannot confirm whether she is alive or dead; although if alive she will be 97. I have therefore removed my 'brick wall' question but will post it again in 3 years, when a century will have passed and hopefully it will be safe to assume all have moved on to a better place.

All very intriguing Sarah, but as most of those people mentioned are probably still alive, we cannot discuss them on here, could get us in to all sorts of trouble and it also opens them up for Identity Fraud, you could try the Family Records Office in London, they have all the BMD's there, you can book for a day and have a thorough search.
