Hi all and especially to Jo!!!
Great site!!
Been researching my family tree for about six years now. Active on Genes and Ancestry.
My ancestors were the Patrick family who were primarily tailors, milliners and dressmakers. My 3x Great Grandfather, Jesse Patrick, had a tailor's shop on Blackheath High Street.
Looking forward to getting involved around here.

Hello again folks!! This is just a quickie.....
Seems I've only been here five minutes and I've started a riot already!!!!!
I only mentioned Jo because it was she who answered my request to join this site.
Please don't fall out... there's plenty of me to go around!!

who do you connect to on the Black Country Connections site?
do you need any help finding anything out?
or can you see any bits of the tree that could be connected if so let us know

Hi Northern Lass.
I connect through the Patrick family. I have to confess that I came across this great site purely by fluke when I entered Jesse Patrick into Google search.
My main tree is on Ancestry so I will see if there's anything there I can add to bcc.
The irony is that I used to live in Rowley Regis and had no idea my ancestors used to reside there until I move out.
Looking forward to getting involved!!
