Jan,
Although you are following the Davies line on the BCC thread, my interest in the Rayboulds suggest that the parents of Sylvia may be the William Raybould and Ann Jones who married in St John's Church, Halesowen on 1 November 1802 (transcript of records refer).
Also, there are burial records on the IGI website which show the burials in the graveyard of St Giles Church, Rowley Regis of an Ann Raybould, on 13 February 1825 (age 44 years) and of a William Raybould, on 15 August 1830 (age 49 years).
Hope this is helpful...regards
H

Jan,
Looking further at my records, I believe that the BCC threads shown on your post (293416829 and 88618275) relate to the same Sylvia Raybould.
The "˜Transcript of the Halesowen Parish Registers"™ show that a William and Ann Raybould had two children christened in St John"™s Church; a son, Jeremiah, on 3 June 1813 (this record refers to William and Ann being "˜of Corngreaves, in the Parish of Rowley Regis"™ and to William being a "˜Gun-barrel Forger"™). Also, a daughter, Sylva (Sylvia), on 18 November 1821; however, while this record also describes William and Ann of "˜being of Rowley Regis"™ it describes William as a "˜Nailer"™. This latter record was confirmed from a microfilm copy of the parish record, which is held in the History Centre in Coseley.
The link between Sylvia and Jeremiah is further suggested by his presence as a witness at her wedding to Joseph Davis (already shown on BCC)
H.

Jan,
It looks like a 'match' but we cannt be 100% sure without some further evidence.
From the BMD index there seems tro be about 5 possible births for a Martha Davis around 1844

Marriage has Blackheath as address and that Martha was consistently at Blackheath.
