Who lived in a house like this?

Hi
The house I was born in no longer exists but I am wondering if I can find the history of its occupants by using the internet??
I know there is a web site where you should be able to find this information but no matter how much or little information I put in, I get no results.
Anyone have any ideas please?

You need to contact the Land Registry Jano, was it in Cradley

You can trace back from 1911, but the numbers have probably changed many times since then.

Hi Jan
Find My Past. Census, land & survey records can be searched by address.
1881 records are free to view.
There dont seem to be any free credit codes at the mo'. If I find any I will post on General Discussion "¹ Miscellaneous
Happy Hunting!

Would Church Street Rowley Regis be the same road?
There are entries for that road but no house numbers (I am looking at the 1881 census on find my past).
There are 10 different dwelling entries on one page.
You may be able to make a bit of a guess by the number of people in the house (10 in each of 2 dwellings)
Looking on Old-Maps.co.uk it doesn"™t look as if there are that many houses on the street in 1884!
I am assuming it is the road by the old railway from the colliery and holy trinity?
Not much help re the occupants but a good site to look at old street maps.
Please post if the land registry (or any other source) comes up trumps as I would be interesed to know.
