John son of John Cardo and Elizabeth nee Shaw.

Married Selina Robins at St. Mark's Church, Pensnett.
21-09-1857 John Cardo, 24, bachelor, Miner of Pensnett , son of John Cardo, Miner, married Selina Robins, 23, spinster of Pensnett, daughter of William Robins, Nailer. By Banns. Both made mark. Witnesses: Thomas (Poston?) & Matilda Cardo.

John died in 1877 aged 48 and is buried at Christ Church, Quarry Bank:

Selina Cardo nee Robins married William Cartwright at Holy Trinity Church, Ambelcote.
22-01-1879 William Cartwright, 43, widower, Miner of Ambelcote, son of Noah Cartwright, Miner, married Selina Cardo, 45, widow of Ambelcote, daughter of William Robins, Labourer. By Banns. He signed name; she made mark. Witnesses: John Cartwright & Priscilla Bromel.

I have just added the children for James Bloomer and Sophia.
Just wondering if Matilda Robins and Selina Robins are relatives of Selina?
I think I will start other threads for them.
