I have just watched two and half hours of incredible passion and sacrifice,brought together by fantastic acting. Hugh Jackman plays his role remarkably well ,and has lovely singing voice.Full of sadness ,which brings the tears. I have never been in a cinema before when the audience clapped at the end . Well worth going to see.

Going to see it on Monday, can't wait

Saw the show live a few years ago, thought it was brill!

Do not expect the singing to be on par with the likes of Alfie Boe. They all sing well but its not opera.The visual aspect is fantastic. You will enjoy it ,and it is defiantly brill . !! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQnJ4mIfT0c

I saw it a couple of weeks ago. It was wonderful, best film I've seen in ages. My advice for anyone going to see it: Take plenty of tissues!

That is why my husband did not go to watch it. I liked it very much .

I love musicals.Fred and Ginger.Gene Kelly and Cyd Charisse.Gordon MacRae and Shirley Jones.
Mind you i was a member of Mrs Booth's Dance School at The Parish Rooms Oldbury and learnt to tap dance.So i speak from experience.

I've been to quite a few stage musicals over the years and Les Miserables is the best one I've every seen. I just love musicals, apart from the Lloyd-Webber ones. A few years ago I went with some friends (Ken doesn't like the theatre) to see Joseph & His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat at the Birmingham Hippodrome. There was a row of women behind us saying, "oh this is the 7th time I've seen this, or 9th time" etc. etc. and there was me thinking "have you got money to burn ladies?"

I too love musicals, but I have the tendency to want to sing.How I kept my mouth shut at the cinema I will never know.
