Downton Abbey Downer!!

My kids were already upset at the stupid ending of Merlin.
They cheered up a bit with an excellent Dr Who Xmas special.
They were loving Downton Abbey till the last 5 minutes.
What a miserable way to end what was a fairly upbeat episode!!!

Saw the Doctor Who special from last year the other day, it was okay

Have to agree Mark - on behalf of the Grandkids - Merlin was a complete letdown - The Doctor was Brilliant.
On behalf of me - didn't even record Downton - didn't watch all of the last series - boring .....

Oh I loved Downton...cant wait till its back on! Didnt see the others.

my grandson who is eight ,is really into Merlin . When Arthur Died he cried like a baby ,and his younger brother of six had to console him. They both enjoyed Dr Who .I did too.

Happy new father one minute. Dead under his car the next. So now we have a little girl without a mother already at Downton and now her first cousin is without his father.

Aaaaaahhhhh!! Haven't watched Merlin yet so DON'T SAY ANYMORE until I've watched it. Had to read the posts line by line very very slowly in case there was mention of Merlin.

Apparently they killed Matthew off because he wanted to leave the show way back in February.
What do you think of Lady Mary and Tom getting together???..................................Nope, don't think so.

Crap programes over xmas with certain exceptions........I think the rubbish shown were chosen by kids in boating shoes and wear Norman Wisdom type suits halfway up their A..e

yes, I thought that,but it would be like Lady Chatterley ,but with the groom or was he the chauffeur ? ,I cant remember. Hmmm

I like Irish whisky best,and yes I reckon he could be in charge .It would make very interesting television . The commoner who as a lord for a step-son .Hmm
