I have just discovered from my great-grandfather's brother's son's marriage certificate that he was employed as a police constable! (shades of "Evening All"!)
Just wondering am I able to access his employment records and so forth somewhere if they're still kept? The marriage was in 1926 in London. Would be interesting to find out about his police career also, possibly, his enrolment/enlistment papers might include a photo of him?
Thanks for asny help.
David

Many thanks for the info.
I have sent off an email to the police HQ asking for "assistance with my enquiries"
Now there's an "arresting" thought....
Cheers

Anything else to add to this? If not will be archived in 24 hrs but can be brought back if needed.

Nothing at the moment as I'm mainly concentrating on my Danish side at the moment. The English side I'll tackle with mucho gusto during the long dark winter days looming up nigh.....
