John Guest - the search goes on..

Hi, many will recall (especially Jan and Jimmy) that I have been trying to find the details of the death of my gt gt grandfather, John Guest (see below),
and I am awaiting a certificate that may finally provide the information being sought.

However, although he died young, on the certificate of his marriage to my gt gt grandmother, Ann Maria Hughes (nee Kendrick) he is shown as a widower, so I have been looking for his previous marriage also
.
I have now found a (IGI) record on the familysearch website which shows the marriage of a John Guest to a Selvey Tilley on 9 December 1855 (father Benjamin Guest - which is the right name). The bride's father is shown as James Tilley and he and his family are shown on BCC.
I have also found a BMD record of the death of a Sylvia Guest in the Sep qtr of 1857 (Dudley 6c 13) and a burial record on FreeReg of the burial of a Sylvia Guest in the graveyard of St Andrew's Church, Netherton on 30 September 1857 (abode: Windmill End) .
Sylvia's family is shown in the 1861 census living in Windmill End, comprising Phobe Tilley (widow) plus four children (Jane, James, Josiah and Ephraim). BMD records were found of the death of a James Tilley in the Dudley Districts in June quarter 1855 (6c 14) and December quarter 1858 (6c { 3}.
Circumstantially it all seems to hang together but any help to 'prove' these are the right records would be greatfully received.
