Hi Nutsy I have moved this to this section.
are you still after a poss marriage for your Joseph Harris?
if so might be an idea to try and find him on the census and see his occup and then fit him in with one of the marriages

Can't find him on 1881 Census and don't have access to any other census... the only Joseph Harris I can find on the 1881 census is married to a Phoebe.

So, I don't have anything to go on here.

Ok, just found in notes that in 1861 Joseph was an
Iron Roller and his residence between 1851 -1861 was Lorney Town, Reddall HIll, Rowely Regis.. but don't have anything later than that I'm afraid

that looks a possible Census for Josephs mother will add to notes
ta Jimmy
Need this Joseph on on say 1861 and 1871 just to see what his age/occup is
then we can see those on the 1881 and see which ones are likely
then we can look up a marriage.
so many Joseph harris's on bmsgh marrying .....need to narrow it down.

Hi Nutsy, I sent you every Census Image from 1841 - 1901 for Joseph and Mary when she was Widowed, did you not keep them? Best Wishes Linell.

Ok he is on the 1871 Lomey Town with wife Phoebe
calls one of his kids Simon

so need a marriage..eldest kid 3
1871 Lomey Town Rowley Regis
living next door to a John Griffiths age 59 a lodger in a Susannah Billingham house
and another Lodger Fanny Griffiths age 57 presume wife both born RR
then
Joseph Harris h m 24 puddler b RR
Phebe Harris wife 22 brick maker b Lichfield
Mary Harris dau 3 b RR
Simon Harris son 1 b RR

I reckon that could be our Joseph I have pencilled em in and will verify by a look up
but it looks good...right area lomey town, puddler same as iron roller...well almost....and that name Simon for a son like his brother...age is ok and place of birth is good....
So nutsy will let you know what that one turns up
