My tabby doesn't behave any different and she is 18 years old.

Three things that are sure to bring a smile.

1) A dog or cat playing.
2) A child's laughter.
3) Chocolate.

Really lovely to watch .I love cats. My cats really daft too. At night she cuddles up to the teapot that's in the cosy that's shaped like a chicken, and she talks to the leaves that are on the roof of our conservatory. :-)Dt

I love cats and their independent spirit!
Can't have one though as I'm allergic, so I have to make do with my mum in laws.
They adopted him when he was about three, then he was called Speedy - which must have been his previous owners idea of of a joke. Now he has a name (in danish) that perfectly conjures up his lack of speed.
Despite being on the slow side he's a character, and loves cars (will spend hours watching my dad in law work on his old ones) and even has a three wheeler bmw named after him! He always has to say hello when we come to visit, and meow's until he's got our attention, not to mention a little bit of fuss.
