Always on the lookout for new sites that can help me knock down the brick walls I've come up against or can let me help others do the same. I'm researching mine and my husband's trees so lots of surnames! Main ones are PHILBIN, MCFARLANE, BERRY, MACKIE, PEARSON, DAVIS, RUSSELL, ALLAN at the moment.
I have been bitten by the bug since my dad died in 2008. I'm lucky because I can travel to Scotland's People Centre in Edinburgh a few times a year so that saves a lot of money and 'trawling'.
