http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =873946289I know I have asked about Richard before without any luck, he is on BCC. On his daughter wedding cert he is down as a tailor
Henry Guest 37 b farmer Cinderbank Henry Guest labourer
Elizabeth Willitts 46 s Shavers End Richard Willitts tailor
I have found a Richard Willitts tailor Worcester Street Wolverhampton 1835
Also a bap. for Elizabeth Willitts 11.7.1803 st Peter's Wolverhampton parents Richard and Lucy Willitts
What I can't find is a census with them on, the bap. doesn't give a trade for the father.
Any ideas?

Richard and Sarah above from lutley Hayley Green are my Willetts family, Richard was a Nailer. As far as I know he didn't have an Elizabeth, the family were very much rooted in Hayley Green, they all lived and died there, I doubt they ever went to Netherton. Are you sure Elizabeth did not make up this Richard Nessa?

When I looked at that 1841 census I thought it said nailer not tailor, as for if she made the name up I don't know all I have is the wedding cert with her fathers name on it Willitts and Elizabeth and Henry had a daughter Mary Emma Guest and it has mothers name Elizabeth Guest formerly Willitts.

Hi,
The wits. are Richard Pearson and Anne Pearson, neither name means anything to me and do not seem to have a connection with the family as far as I know.

That throws the cat amongst the pigeons as my Richard Willetts has family connections to Richard Pearson born 1809 Lutley Hayley Green, he had a sister Ann too and they were neighbours!! Trouble is Ann Married Joseph Willetts son of the said Richard in 1830 so she would have been Ann Willetts not Pearson when your Elizabeth Married Henry Guest. I lost Richard Pearson after 1841, don't know if he died or emigrated? Very strange though, maybe there is some connection to my Willetts then Nessa
