ARC TBC.................Dudley taylors Thomas Cadman

Hi everyone Have death Certificate of Thomas Cadman,When and Where died:

13 May 1860,Aged 34 yrs,
Occupation :Collier,
Cause of death: Burnt by Explosion of Fire Damp,
Informant: Information received from Ralf Docker, coroner for Worcestershire,
Inquest held 14 May 1860,
Registered :7 June 1860,
Signed Thomas Allen Registrar. :cry:

I would be eternally grateful if some one can find the coroners report or advise me on how or where i can get this information.
Many thanks again for all your effort and long hours you have worked to help me. :-)

Colliery: Gospel Oak
Owner: Grazebrook and Ashton
Town: Tipton
County: Stafford
Notes: Explosion of firedamp. Error in the level of the gateroad had caused the water to roof and when by a gutter the water came away the gas came with it and fired at a candle near bottom of the shaft. In performing this operation they should have had a lamp. 2 killed.

Hi, yes i agree ,the newspaper reported he had a wife and six children,which made me think their was a possibility it was my Thomas.When i received his death cert yesterday and it said" Old Dock", I was sure then it was him, because Stafford Street is part of that area. Also in the newspaper it said his brother was hurt , his name was JOHN CADMAN,he also lived in Dudley, so it has all tied in together.Job well done! :-) Dt

Walter Taylor had a son FRANCIS HERBERT TAYLOR 1880-1961,he married SARAH ELIZABETH BADLEY1884-1952, her mother was PRISCILLA CADMAN daughter of THOMAS CADMAN and ANN REBECCA BOWATER, PRISCILLA married JOSEPH BADLEY. Dt :-)

Joseph staying at his daughters Alice Louise now Palmer.

Priscilla at home at 37 Wolverhampton street ,
Emily19. annie16 joseph11 john c 14.

Joseph was a self employed chimney sweep employing others and priscilla had her own shop selling and renting out china and glass .
