Hi, Will post info when postman drops it :-) I have got a problem with my Grt Grandfather if you all want a go at it :Walter Taylor, B 10 April 1845, Commandery Street, St Andrews, Worcester. Father,John Taylor, Iron Moulder, Mother,Elizabeth Baker. Births,Unknown. Marriage of Parents Sept 28 1835, Saint Alban, Worcester, Index Project ,MOI 379-1 Stystem Origin England-odm Film Souce 0599881t4,354316 Family Search. I cannot find census for this family, until Walter Taylor Marries Ellen Hazelwood in Dudley in 1867( Waiting for Marriage cert ), The first census Starts in 1871, Walter Taylor,1845- 1920
Ellen Hazelwood 1846-1927 Darby End
Walter 1868-1952
John 1870
Henry1873-74
Ernest 1874-75
Elizabeth Annie 1876
Annie 1877
Francis Herbert 1880 -1961, Married Sarah Elizabeth Badley, Mother, Priscilla Cadman.Father Joseph Badley. Wolverhampton St Dudley .Occupation Chimney Sweeper.
Frederick 1883
Ethel 1868-1977
Nellie 1887.
I have census for them all. They are living in Abberley Street, Dudley. I can find nothing on Walter, or his parents prior to this, it is quite a mystery. There is a family in Worcester at the same time very similar to my Walter, i have found out about them and know for sure they are not mine. Even if you find Walter in Dudley prior to his marriage would be a success .I do not know if he had any brothers or sisters. Dt :?

Hi , i have tried to research the family you have found and the only dought i have is the birth for Walter the date is good but it is where they say he was born. My father and grandfather said he was born in Worcester Worcestershire, and it is on the 1911 census that he was born in Worcester. I have alot of confidence in you all. The postmans been and i am afraid the certificates have not arrived yet ,but you will be the first to know. :-)

That's really interesting. Why would they marry in Birmingham ,when she came from Dudley , unless she was staying with family somewhere. In 1861 she was staying with her sister Esther Bishton (married name) in Dudley , In 71 she was in Abberley Street with Walter. :?
