The name looks like Newey not Newley so I will sort that on Connections
but I could do with the 1841 census for Thomas and wife
I think she is a Mary Ann and put down as Ann

there is this bapt

Mother: MARY Extracted birth or christening

this fits with where they seem to marry Oldswinford but the year and the name of mother is not right

this one fits for church and the parents but not the Mary Ann bit but Mary Davis...hmmm

Mary Ann Newey is it seems born abt 1813 (1851 census)
and
1815 ( on the 1871)

and then a marriage for a Thomas Newey

Marriage: 11 OCT 1812 Old Swinford, Worcester, Extracted marriage

So maybe she took the name Mary Ann but was bapt Mary Davis Newey

putting both bapts on look up see if father of one of em is a shoemaker

I can't see a death for James Bromley could this be him. James was a shoemaker and the age is right.
