The saddest news i heard today was that Lance Armstrong is "too weary to fight" allegations of using performance enhancing drugs.
He could be stripped of all his 7 tour wins.
I can't believe he's going to give up without a fight unless he's guilty!!

It would seem the 'powers that be' are determined to make an example of him as taking drugs and will move heaven and earth to do so. Personnaly I think the chap is just worn down with the hassle. I hope he just turns his back on it all. Cheers, Tony.

if he guilty then he deserves to be stripped of his title but how did he pass all the drug testing ?
is he going to be stripped of his title because some one said they seen him take drug ?
it a bit of a kick in the teeth especially after he quit the sport, just maybe thev'e taken the shine of his medals and he doesnt have any fight left in him after the one with cancer thats why he might of said sod it carnt be bothered more important thing to do like living ?
its like 2 years down the line stripping phelps of all his titles and medals with no positive tests to back it up ?

They do have positive tests and people to testify against him.
He passed the tests taken during the tour but specimens are kept for several years in case better procedures are found.
The Americans have found evidence of doping and this is what he has been asked to answer to.
The same thing could happen to Phelps or any other athlete.
If he does not fight it then he is guilty by omission and will be stripped of his medals and Tour De France wins.
The Aussie Cadel Evans who came 8th in the Tour in 2005 was not amused because if Armstrong goes down then he was the first drug free person home that year.
All the rest have been nabbed for drugs.

So the USADA have stripped Lance of all his titles and medals and it looks like the maybe the UCI will fight the decision.!!
The Tour de France organisers said they would wait for an outcome in any stand-off between USADA and the UCI before taking action.
Looks like Cadell may get his Tour de France title after all !!
What a shambles!! They,the runners,are tested vigourously for drugs during the Tour.They then save all the samples,in case of improved technology and then years and years later they take action!!
Unbelievable!!
