hi expat,
10007 pte frederick allen south staffs is the only frederick allen listed in the west brom book of rememberance
he was the son of issacher allen of moor street, west bromwich
it was a family of soldiers!, frederick's brother 7898 pte issacher allen (reservist) of the duke of cornwall light i. missing 21st october 1914 later listed killed . they found his id tag but not him
9884 pte job allen of the cheshires lost his left eye in the war
10208 pte james allen of the royal welsh fus. wounded in hip and spent 28 weeks in hospital
