This is what Gary's got:
Mary Goodhead was married to Joseph Small in Wednesbury, Staff, in 1871. Joseph had married a Goodhead d/o Alonzo & Mary Ann Garness.
Links to this marriage on BCC, but the Goodheads seem to have come from Nottinghamshire and Shropshire:

Neither marriage match up with the 1851 Census, but it could be a late marriage or a second marriage

Found a possible divorce on FMP:
Divorces & matrimonial causes for 1868
GOODHEAD Margaret orwise Mary v GOODHEAD Alonzo
Cause 931, 1870
It looks like Margaret/Mary filed for divorce in 1868, and it was granted in 1870. No third party mentioned.
