Hi lovely people!
Thanks for your recent help trying to find out if John Moore of Cradley stopped being a carter and became a shopkeeper in Cradley High Street in the 1870's...
I said I would send for a death cert. & keep you posted..it came today...more mystery.! (what else!)
John Moore, aged 50,carter (so far so good!) died at 2 Foxoak Street, Rowley Regis on 4th April 1879 of bronchitis, cardiac disease.
The death was registered by Ellen Moore, sister in law, present at death, address 1 Foxoak Street.
John's daughter Clara, who married William Guise at Old Hill church July 26th 1880 has her father as deceased.
One of the witnesses is an Ellen Moore...
anybody make a link? If I'm wrong, anyone want a certificate?!
