Trying to find the family of a John Henry Tilley, b abt 1883. He married my great Aunt Annie Hill on Sept 22nd 1913 at St Andrews, Netherton, On wedding certificate his occupation is a Butcher, living at 27 Griffin St, Netherton and his father was Thomas Tilley "deceased" coke burner. They had two children, Jack and Mary. Mary later married George Marlow and they became mayor and mayoress of Dudley in 1951. Can't see any connection to any of the Tilley's on BCC... yet!

Quick work John's mama married the guy next door after dad died by the look of it... Ernest William is prob right, there were plenty more Ernest's and William's in the family.
