Hi Purdo4 Welcome to the forum

Where are your Shakespears from?
are they from the Black Country area?
which county/ies

If the Black Country area we have a dedicated section if you scroll down and I will move this post to there.

If you haven't added your names to the surname interest table that might be an idea.

and this website on Shakespears may help you ....
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.anc ... itemap.htm

Presume you are on Genes if you wish to trace living cousins

Have you got this lot (that pete found) on Census in 1901 or maybe 1911 to see the kids they had and work from there?
Seems like you have the line going back you need the line down and outwards.

Marriages Sep 1891

Hood Sarah Ann Hendon 3a 304
Shakespeare Henry Hendon 3a 304

hi there and welcome. That Wm and Joyes is one of mine. He was born RR 1605, died Dudley 1682 but mine is the line through the Edward sons and then Ferdinando, if its correct.

Ah-hah, SS! I thought I recognised those names. Here they are on BC - and connected to NL too, if I'm not mistaken.

Could be a connection here. How does your Henry connect back to William & Joyes, P4?
