Hi,

My research has revealed a newspaper report of the marriage of Ethel (Linton) Hingley, who was the daughter of Samuel Hingley (of Fairview, Cradley); it would seem that she married a Daniel Weston (of the Indian Civil Servce) in Dacca, Bengal on 20 December 1899. Hope this helps someone. It is not directly connected to my interest in 'Hingleys'

This is the note I have made - 'The 'Worcestershire Chronical' of Saturday 30 December 1899 carries an announcement of the marriage on 20 December 1899 of Donald Weston (Indian Civil Service) to Ethel Linton Hingley, daughter of Samuel Hingley of Fairview, Cradley.'

In turn, Samuel is one of the sons of Noah Hingley, the Netherton Iron Master, and so this may be of interest to someone who is following this branch of the family.
