http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/fa ... ley-FamilyHi,
Are you interested in 'facts' about this particular Noah Hingley such as an imprisonment

, which I unearthed in my research, or is BCC just to show family members?

I dont want to upset anyone!!

Hi H.,
I think most, if not all of us, are interested in the whole story about our ancestors (Noah is likely a connection of many of us).
As for what should be on BCC, as the owner of the tree, Northern Lass, is the ultimate authority, so perhaps you could send her a private message.
Cheers,
Di

Hi,
The Worcestershire Chronicle of 12 November 1862 has a report of a court case (heard on 31 October) where a Noah Hingley, Nailer, of Cradley was found guilty of assaulting his wife, Hannah, in an unprovoked attack; causing her serious facial injury. He was sentenced to 2 months hard labour.
I have assumed this is Noah Hingley and Hannah (Parsons), as no-one else fits the profile. Not a good start to their life together but from the info on BCC they obviously 'stayed the course; also, unfortunately, it seems from historical reports that cases of domestic violence were not unusual in Cradley
