Just added the marriage for George's daughter Eleanor here....

Now I'm a bit puzzled because on Eleanor's marriage in 1888 her father is listed as deceased, yet we have him still alive on the subsequent censuses and a possible death of 1917

Is that just an error on the marriage or have we got things completely wrong on BCC?

I am wondering if this is a different Eleanor Stamp? ... on the 1891 and 1901 census her place of birth is listed as Bristol

The Eleanor on the 1861 and 1871 censuses has birthplace as Smethwick

Looks as though the Eleanor Stamp who was already on BCC married William Southall.

The marriage I had just added today is for a different Eleanor Stamp.
