Hi i am a decendant of the Northall family from Madeley Shropshire, my line went to Yorkshire and stayed, some siblings came back to Madeley, it seems others moved to the West Midlands. I have the Northall line back as far 1630 in Madeley - and some of the family lines that married in. Spouse names are Bennett, Palmer, Knight, Brierwood, Jones, Amos, and Richardson. If anyone needs info I am happy to share.Equally i would like to discover more about their lives.

Thank you, I don't have any photo's of the Northall's - to far back in my line. Shropshire Archives does have a Photo of Samuel Northall born around 1846 married Elziabeth Southwick - The Photo is of Samuel and workmates at the Madeley Wood mine with 2 pit ponies - photo taken about 1890 ish. I decend from Samuel's sister Rebecca Northall.

Thanks to all of you that have welcomed me to the forum, i hope any informaiton i have is usefull to you all, it seem the Northall's travelled and spread quite a lot , my information covers Madeley Shropshire, but it seems thats where most of the Northall's decend from. If any of you are looking for Knight Northalls they are also this line, as a William Northall Married Elizabeth Knight and their sons were given the double barrelled surname, it only lasted one generation in my line - I come from their son William Knight Northall - but his son was William Northall.

Sorry Northern Las Rebecca Northall, born Madeley - died Broseley was the last Northall, my line went to Yorkshire for a few generations before returning to Shropshire via Herefordshire. I am sure that they are all connected, if you know which of your Northall ancestors was born in Madeley, hopefully i can help you!
