This John Crampton is shown as Horse Nail Maker on daughter Phoebe's marriage record

Only one I can find is this one :-

Elizabeth Crompton wife 23 Nailer
William Crompton son 2
Mary M. Crompton dau 3mths.
Rest born Oldswinford Worcs.

Cannot find Phoebe born 1852 born Quarry Bank
or parents in 1861 and 1871 before her marriage
problem is surname keeps changing from Crompton to Crampton and Crumpton

I can only find one of the right age in 1861 Mumbles:-

Maybe Phoebe had a name change prior to 1861 Think I am right in saying that James/John were interchangeable

It says father william on this marriage, but who knows with the 1841 census.
