Hi there I hope someone can help.

I'm searching for the parents of:-

Charlotte Heron nee DAY, born in Liverpool in 1914.
She married Peter Heron in 1936 in Liverpool.

Charlotte died in 1938, 6 months after giving birth to, Edna Elizabeth HERON in 1937.

I'm a beginner and I've already purchased the wrong Cert, can anyone help?

Bad luck getting the wrong certificate!

It looks as though this may be Charlotte

but really the only way to approach it is to get Charlotte's marriage certificate

Marriages Jun 1936
Day Charlotte Heron Liverpool S. 8b 436

and then you will know her father's name and occupation so you can request a birth certificate but only if it fits that information. Once you get back pre-1911 census things are a little simpler.
If you happen to know where Charlotte married, and if it was in a church rather than regsitry office, and you live locally (lots of ifs) then you could perhaps go to the local archives and see the parish record entry which would be cheaper that buying the certificate.

Which one is it, they both come under Lancashire,
Births Jun 1914.
DAY Charlotte. mothers maiden name, Jones. W Derby. 8b. 852.

Births Sep 1914.
Day Charlotte. mothers maiden name, Renshaw. Bury. 8c. 1171.

Just to avoid confusion, that will be the same birth as the West Derby one. It has a different code because this links to the local register office rather than the General one.

What was the wrong certificate for?

Sorry it's taken ages to reply

I purchased charlotte's death cert on the 20th march which I still haven't register, cos I thought that asking for that one would tell me one of her parents names as charlotte's hubby Peter Heron had gotten another woman up the duff 2 months before charlotte died, (it must have caused a family uproar) and maybe her mum or dad registered her death, cos Ive learnt that Peter married his 'other' woman 2 months after Charlotte died.

I (an only child) didn't know Charlotte was my real nan until just before my mum died in 2004, and the nan I thought was my nan was really my aunt (the sister of Peter Heron the dirty adulterer) lol. So it's a part of my family I never knew excisted and as I have no other living relatives that I know of, so I thought I'd try and find the DAY family.

It's so exciting for my but also very upsetting knowing that I have some sort of family out there somewhere

I wouldn't know if she had brothers or sisters, is there a way of finding out? I've ordered her marriage certificate so I should receive it some time next week.

once you get the marriage cert we might pick something up on the 1911 census
