Richard Crimes/ Grimes and Grace Meese (its on the IGI and FreeBMD - havent yet checked original) married 17 Feb 1840 at Sedgley. Finding details on Richards family is a bit of a nightmare as the surname spelling varies - eg Grimes/ Crimes/ Chrimes - later generations (when they could spell!) seem to have settled on'Chrimes'

Richard Grimes was bapt 20 Feb 1814 at Brierley Hill, s of Samuel Grimes (b 1784) and Sarah Smithyman (b 1788) - her family is easily traced, but have found nothing yet on Samuel.

I think that's that's correct - I have her bapt at St Michaels Brierley Hill - when I looked at that page on bcc I noticed 'Sebra' and had my doubts but I have her (Sebra) as 'Seborah' so think this may be yet another form of 'Zipporah' /'Deborah' - or, as I have occasionally seen it 'Zebra'!!
