Now have many family uses of the Name Davis and Pain,
The main line being-

William Davis Pain and Son William 1817.from Warrington up to Rotherham.
Starting in Rowley Regis, Tipton and Dudley

William Paine Davies and unknown spouse married.
They had the following children:-
2. i. William Paine Davies was born about 1817 in Dudley,Worcestershire. He married Jane(
Gheeney) Peters on 16 Mar 1840 in Parish Church Tipton Staffs.. He died on 07 Oct 1897
in Rotherham, Yorkshire, England (Rotherham Workhouse).
Mary ? was born about 1785 in Rowley Regis, Staffordshire, England.
William Paine Davies and Mary married. They had the following children:
3. i. Noah Davies(Paine) was born in 1813 in Dudley Worc.. He married Eliza Woodall on 27
Jul 1835 in St.Martins Tipton. He died in Dudley Staffordshire.
ii. Thomas Davies(Paine) was born in 1814 in Dudley Worc..
2. iii. William Paine Davies was born about 1817 in Dudley,Worcestershire. He married Jane(
Gheeney) Peters on 16 Mar 1840 in Parish Church Tipton Staffs.. He died on 07 Oct 1897

bapt. 16 JAN 1814 Saint Thomas, Dudley, Worcester, England He was an iron Puddler.William
married under the name Paine and on the 1841 census became Davies then moved to Rotherham
and stayed as Paine/Payne then changed back to Davis on the 1871 census.Witnesses at the
marriage were Thomas Taylor and Mary Hopkins.He was an iron Puddler. In 1841 they lived at
Freebodies in Dudley next door to James and Ann Woodall my 4th Gt.grandparents and a Mary
Davies c1771 and an Elizabeth c1821 lived with them poss. mother and sister. .In 1881 William and
Jane lived at 14 Chapel St. Rotherham under the name Davis.1881 census RG11/4678.In 1891 they
lived at Albert Rd. Rotherham.He was buried on the 10/10/1897 in a public grave plot E134 1st. New
Ground moorgate Cemetery
1861: 85 High st Dudley Noah (DAVIS) age 48 Puddler, Eliza age 46, Joseph age 18, Sylvia age 16, Charlotte age 10, Rosehanna age 6, Mary Anne age 1month.
Correct on all further cens

Only birth record is James (illegitamate) July 1833 Eliza Woodall at freebodies Dudley
Also a marriage certificate st Martins Tipton Eliza Woodall (NOAH PAINE) 27 JUL 1835
Birth Thomas (Payne) 3 April 1836 Dudley Noah Payne Eliza Woodall
