Have added this Parsons family as 5 or 6 of children born in Wolverhampton

However when I followed family they 1) kept using St.Leger as second name 2) Most were managers on Railways
3) A lot of family kept going back to Ireland to marry or to have children.4) Connection to St. Leger horse race

Then found that the family were descended from nobility and Soldier Officers and Knights and Bishops in Ireland who were involved in government of Ireland , Siege of Derry and The Battle of the Boyne and later fought in Peninsular War in Portugal and India and Argentina . Dudley christian name was nothing to do with Dudley Staffs. but came from an ancestor called Dudley Hill who married a St. Leger and called son Dudley St. Leger Hill and thus use of St. Leger name by descendants.
Parsons Surname was also not from Black Country but from landed gentry and nobility in Ireland
