So Phebe died 1819 so presume she didnt marry.

So that is all of them that we can see on Connections one married to a Tibbetts one to Griffiths
any more and we can have a look

I don't know what to say but you lot have just unwittingly broken an old brick wall for me.

John is my 3xGreat Grandfather and I have had the Mary Ann Baker marriage in 1820 in my sights for many years as a possibility. However, my transcription of the 1841 census was done very early in my research and stupidly I never included Susan Baker (my only excuse is that it was done a long time ago and I thought "not my family" presumably).

If I had written that down then the subsequent connection to Mary Ann would have been much more probable!!

Thanks, I can take that branch further now.

As a matter of interest the later Griffiths children were baptised at St. Peter's, Cradley:

Elijah; 16 March 1828
John; 26 July 1829
Mary; 5 July 1831
Jonah; 9 March 1834

and the 13 year old in the 1841 is Elijah, not Eliza.
