Have done a look up
wondering whether we have this Joseph on Connections already?

here is the look up

can anyone find this family on the census and see if he is a nailer?

Might be missing something here, but this Joseph married Ann Slim in 1853, on the 61 Ann's a Widow and on the 71 states married but no Joseph, more kids tho..

Have added Joseph Brookes marriage to Ann Slim to the lookups - it should help find him..

I am confused now

What I meant was this Joseph as the father on that marriage for Hannah Brookes
could be the same as the one that married Ann Slim as they both have dau Hannah.
are they both nailers

I don't know which Joseph is the right one on the census's prior to his marriage to Ann..

I think they are one and the same....

Can anyone find this lot on the 1851 and see if father Jospeh married to Ann is a nailer?

Joseph & Hannah at Bell End is Joseph who married Hannah Willetts in 1853 RR and is already on bcc

Rite just found Hannah and hubby on 1881 they have a lodger with them Mary Ann Brookes
She is the sister of Hannah and parents are Joseph and Ann Slim

so I am joining up the tree
I thought they were the same ones

his father is a John Brookes nailer

I think it is this one on connections...

and I think this is his bapt

in the RR book John is a nailer and living in the village

can anyone find him on the 1841 with wife Catherine just to double check where he is living


There was another Joseph with father John but in the RR Book he is a Scythemaker darby end

so pretty sure it is the correct one
