Didn't know whether to put this in "Brick Wall" section to start with.
We have a lot of info on Caroline Glazard, just wanted to see her on 1851 census to see if there were any clues as to her mother's parents but cannot find her anywhere.

born abt 1829, daughter of Daniel Glazard & Mary, nee Bradley who married 26 Dec 1827, Oldswinford.

In 1843 her mother, Mary, died

On 1851 census father Daniel is lodging and children scattered.

Humphrey Pearson - lodger - 35 - nailmaker - Lye

On 29 Mar 1852 at Lye Church, Caroline marries Frederick Southall from Upper Swinford and Caroline lives at Upper Swinford till at least the 1891 census.
Frederick Southall died 1864.

On ancestry.co.uk we've looked at every single house in Wollescote, Lye and UpperSwinford but can't find her and their indexing for Caroline Glazzard, Glazard or Glaccerd comes up with nothing.

Anybody got any ideas??

who were the witnesses at the marriage ?

Maybe Caroline was miles from home working as a Servant Girl somewhere

Linell.

Sorry Peterd, don't have the witnesses detail of the marriage and yes Linell, there is every chance that Caroline could have been anywhere, doing an "in service" type job

you could do with putting the marriage details in look up, to see if you can find who witnesses are
