Was coming to visit....now I am not.....

I was going to escort my Mum for a couple of months whilst she stayed with her dying brother. My Uncle in Oldbury has been given a couple of months to live with the cancer spread throughout his body.

But the doctors have refused to let my mother fly due to her lung problems and last time she was in in Oldbury she ended up in hospital with asthma due to the "not as clean" air.

It not that Oldbury is any more polluted than other major industrial regions...it just a lot more polluted than Philip Island where she lives with Dad.

So she can't go and so I will have to wait for a trip to my mother country....

Sorry to hear this

Your situation seems sad which ever way you look at it

Your Mum can't be with her brother as she would like.
You don't get over to see the mother country.

That is a real shame Mark was hoping you might be joining us on the 28 JUly to celebrate
our Bcc tree.

Best that your mum keeps well though and asthma is awful.

Maybe you could come on your todd? :?

The air in Oldbury was really bad. Now? It seems a lot cleaner but my wife who suffers fom Asthma always comes back wheezy .So even though it's getting better it's still there, the greyness and the pollution.
 " On your Todd" ? This is playground stuff!!

I haven't got two red pennies to rub together otherwise I would fly over.

I am over qualified for most IT positions and the other's run when they hear the word "Narcolepsy".

So I am trying to get some funding to get a Genealogy Research company going.

There is a huge market for those needing assistance researching their Aussie branches.

Amazing how many Dutch and German enquiries we get at the Genealogical Society.

Napoleon in 1811 made the registration of surnames in Holland a law.
Before then they were often known as e.g. the son of Jan. Jan's son Klaas's son.Jansson and Klaasson for example.
What you got was also people making names up." Naakt in het gras" Naked in the grass.
"Zeldenthuis".Seldom home.
"DeScheele". The crosseyed and many more.
