Thank you for this report of a marriage record (from the IGI I presume) of Rosanna (H)Ingley and William Griffiths/Raybould. These are surely my 3 x great grandparents. I have little or no doubt that Griffiths is Raybould. There were only two Rosanna Hingleys around in this period, one a sister of Noah Hingley the Cradley/Netherton ironmaster, and she died young, the other was Noah's niece, and she is "mine". The date is just about right for the birth of their first son Joseph in 1828. Moreover, I have searched *exhaustively* for this marriage for 13 years, all over the Black Country, Birmingham, Warwickshire, Staffordshire and Worcestershire. I shall check the Halesowen parish register as soon as I get a chance, to confirm but this is a revelation for me. I can't think how I have missed it! Now I can turn to finding William's parents, which has also eluded me...Thanks again.
