The Daffs are poking thru and the Cherry Blossom is in bloom!

Winnie said that she has never known it so early!
Although it was difficult to understand what she was saying between the Ooohs and ahhs as she
tried to move her rubber cushion to a more comfortable position!

No of course not!! pay attention

I was looking after the Budgie whilst her and Wolvie went to the Match.
But I had to give her a brew when she got back before the taxi picked her up to take her home.
Mind she thought a brew meant a sherry!!
And whilst she sipped the amber nectar she had this cushion
I am surprised how much of an avid Wolves fan she is she had decorated the cushion
in orange with the Wolves logo ..............bless.

Don't know where she is living all very hush hush she wouldn't tell us.
I am just glad she took the bird!! the language from that budgie
well!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you have to say it, now the weather's changed from nice and mild to under freezing in the daytime!!

Hope it doesn't get my plants - my aquilegia's have small leaves on them already!

Robert I think you will find that Winnie is not a member here
I am in touch with her and will pass her your warm wishes.
But she is a little old for even you

Spring is in the air

Not here it ain't! It took me 15 minutes to brush the snow off the jeep this morning - and that was using a yard-brush, it would have taken an hour with the itsy-bitsy car-brush thing. :(

They look all right at the moment, even though it snowed last night. Anyway they'll grow back - at least they did when the mouse stole leaves to line it's nest!!

Went and bought a sun lounge today. I'm conflicted ... All the warnings about getting skin cancer from being in the sun unprotected, and my doctor's on at me about being vitamin D deficient cos I'm not getting enough sunshine.

So I'm going to have a comfy 10 minutes per day on each side.

As long as you don't overdo the sun, you should be okay - but as it's UV light that is needed, wearing sunblock could be the same as staying indoors!!

You could try taking fish oil capsules for the vit D?
