Chairwoman?

In the 1861 Census, my relative, Sophia Gowler (b1812) nee Pedley is listed as a Chairwoman?

Now does this simply mean she makes chairs? Or does it mean female version of chairman?
Id have thought it was a bit early for any equal right stuff and if she was a chairwoman, it would be listed as chairman anyway!

But then why doesnt it say chair maker or similar?

EDIT: or could it be Charwoman?

It could be Charwoman Fatman I have a few of those, if they were well off family though I would say not.
