Thankyou for adding all that Mallosa!

Just back-tracking a bit....
You know that Philemon STEVENS married to Druscilla EVANS

http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/fa ... ens-Family

He died in 1912 .... there is a Probate record for him ... Philemon Stevens of Elm Cottage, Dog kennel Lane, Langley near Oldbury, Worcs. warehouseman. Died 1 Feb 1912. Probate Worcester..29 March to Levi EVANS weigh clerk and Harry Leighton SMITH solicitor. Effects 786pounds 3s and 6d.
Ithink Levi would be his brother-in-law?

as per 1891 census
Dog kennel, Warley, Worcestershire, England
Philemon STERONS(45) gen.labourer..born Warley, wife Drucilla(39)..born Oldbury, daughter Martha(18mths?)born Warley, mother-in-law Sarah EVANS(70)widow..born Warley, broth-in-law Levi EVANS(36) single shipping clerk born Oldbury

There is also a Probate record for Philemon T L STEVENS born 1893 died 1939, who is, I presume , the son of the Philemon above?
Probate record..... Philemon Thomas Layton STEVENS of Elm Cottage, Dog Kennel Lane, Langley nr Oldbury, Worcs. Died 8 May 1939 at The General Hospital, Birmingham. Administration Birmingham to Grace Brearley STEVENS widow and George Harry BREARLEY Lithographer. Effects 1471 pounds 7s and 8d

There is a marriage for a Philemon T L STEVENS and a Grace B LEES in 1919 in Kings Norton.
I think she was born in 1898 in Warley and her parents were William LEES and Alice Grace Brearley. She died in 1983

I don't know who George Harry Brearley is?

Now I'm off to hunt down the last of the eggnog....

I have a line of Oldbury Evans on my tree, Mally, down to my Aunt Florence Evans 1915-2003. I have them back to Edward Evans b. about 1832 in Oldbury, they were involved in loading and unloading canal boats there. Any connection, I wonder?
