I just watched Red Dog with my girls and wife and we were all bawling by the end of it
Fantastic movie and I think the fact I have always had Kelpie dogs made it more emotional than if it was another breed.
Anyway, here are the top five movies guaranteed to reduce my family to tears.
1) Beaches
2) Steel Mangolias
3) Dancer In The Dark
4) Bridge to Terabithia
5) Shindler's List

Out of Africa, near the end when Robert Redford's character is buried on the hillside, reduces me to tears each time I watch it.

Not the film but the "It's my Daddy" moment at the end of The Railway Children. I can't even write, here, about it without my eyes filling up, there is something about it that really gets to me. When my Husband was talking to Jenny Agutter, he told her how I am about it and she admitted she was still the same about it, even though she made the film 40 years ago.

I think the whole film has such an uplifting theme. Polite, well intentioned children and the quiet dignity of Bobby just gets to you, so that when she sees her Daddy on the platform and lets down her guard, it's so moving ..............and believe it or not, I'm crying again!!!!
