Hi from a Newcomer

Just joined your Forum and look forward to many interesting exchanges. I've only been doing my family history research for a few months and made some exciting discoveries. Mum always said that she was an orphan but I've identified her Mum and Dad back in 1915. Yes, you've guessed right - they weren't married. Had to spend many laborious hours at LMA but worth it. Also Great Aunt emigrated on the White Flag line to US in 1903. I had no details other than her surname and the name of a city where she had visited. With the help of a US volunteer we traced her footsteps and descendants. Stumped at the moment on Mum's Mum but will keep that for another thread.
