The other Thomas was bapt 12 April 1829 Brierley Hill, son of Thomas Shakespeare, West Bromwich, collier, and Mary Anne - there are other children in the registers - this must be the Thomas in Derbyshire in the 1881 census

Not sure that's him Jan: there were three Thomas Shakespeare's bapt at Brierley Hill in consecutive years : 1805, 1806 and 1807!

Thomas Shakespeare and Mary Anne Perry married at Kingswinford (St Mary), 25 Sept 1825, although one entry on IGI gives 31 July 1825

The transcripts I have say

Banns
Witnesses:- George Webb. Thomas Walker

There isnt an entry in at all for 31st July 1825 on my transcripts.
